So the first month I subscribed to Glossybox was pretty great! The Man Repeller is a great blog by Leandra and she was kind of enough to put together a box of goodies she loves! The box shipped late because of the overwhelming amount of orders it received. Many subscribers were impatient and angry about that but overall I was very happy when I got my box. The OPI nail polish and Vincent Longo Lip Stain were what I was most excited amount. I try not to use samples of lotions and things because my skin is so sensitive. However the best product by far was the Living Proof Primer. It is a primer for your hair before styling it. Basically the primer holds your style for DAYS, which is great! My hair never sleeps well and gets oily or wavy at night, however with the Living Proof Primer, my hair stayed perfect through out the night and next day. Out of all the products, I would repurchase the Living Proof Primer!

I was overall happy with what I received and I really enjoyed the box unwrapping. It was like Christmas or my birthday! Also I think it is fun to try out new products that I probably wouldn't purchase on my own. For example the Longo lip-stain retails for $28, not something I would jump for unless I knew it was great. Stay tuned for the next box! I'm still waiting for my Birchbox invitation to get through, so maybe that'll be mentioned soon also!

Ok! So I signed up for Glossybox and I'm very excited. Glossybox is a company that ships you free samples every month of top dollar cosmetics and beauty products. I'm tired I'm buying things and not liking them or wanting to try something too. So Glossybox has gotten pretty great reviews and I figured I could have fun with new products and review them as well! The cost was $21 a month but I used a coupon and the code LIPS which gets you a free $39 dual lipstick. So I hope the box comes soon! The box is similar to Birchbox but they had a waiting period that was 4 weeks which seems silly...

The first box on January is titled THE MAN REPELLER. It looks very cute and everyone has been saying the packaging is great. SO look out for my post on Glossybox, and I can even refer you and you can get money off!

Happy New Year! My holiday was amazing and I hope yours was too. Christmas was wonderful and we hosted it at my house for the first time in many years. Thought it was stressful to have like 40 people over, it was worth it! As I mentioned before I didn't get any major gifts from my family because we planned a trip for Iceland (which was amazing, I'll post pictures below). I did however get a gorgeous Michael Kors watch from Dan, my boyfriend. To say I was surprised was an understatement. Normally we don't even really exchange gifts, just cards. I am still shocked haha, it was a very sweet, generous gift. I never let people spend money on me, I like owning my own things and working for them. But how could I reject a Michael Kors watch :) The picture is on the left above with the link <3 I just need to get the watch sized so I can wear it everyday lol.

So I left for Iceland December 27th and I did lots of things from snow mobiling on a glacier to swimming in a hot, geothermal spring surrounded by volcanic mountains. The whole experience was mind blowing. I loved how "green" and eco friendly they are. They heat everything with their groundwater, which means no oil or gas use! Also the whole country is like hipster central which I got a kick of because they already live in the middle of no where, how different do they need to be! SO I could go on and on but pictures really show how amazing Iceland was. Here are a few!

The fashion was surprisingly amazing in Iceland! We stayed on a street which is their "Fifth Ave". (Of course haha) So I was surrounded by bars and Icelandic fashion. Yes they wear a lot of wool from their organic sheep but at night, the gorgeous thin blondes hit the town. Vintage was the basic trend. And by vintage I mean incredible dresses with beading and all in wonderful condition. They also had more of a sleek, edgy look and less cutesy. You never saw girls walking in Nikes or Uggs EVER. You also never saw girls with ill fitting clothes or anything slutty. I could live there just for fashion, and its a random country in the arctic circle. So remember, always dress classy because fisherman and sheep herders in Iceland are dressing to the nines. :D

So I have an ukulele already but its pretty bad. I must have paid like 30 or 40 bucks. It does the job but constantly falls out of tune or does some weird twangy thing. I enjoy playing lots of different types of musics and singing too. Like I mentioned before I love Beirut and they have tons of songs that feature the ukulele. Its just a cute, tiny instrument that I can fit around my hand. The small neck and only dealing with four strings makes it easy to haha.

Sweetwater has excellent, basic ukuleles!

Christmas is coming closer and closer! Today is a silly day since I love my sweets! Sometimes I miss working at Baskin Robbins because I LOVE ICE CREAM! I used to make it all the time when I was younger but I want an ice cream maker of my own. I'm thinking a delicious strawberry ice cream with chocolate swirls. Or maybe a lavender vanilla yummm!

So I have size zero gauges and love them. I stretched my ears once and let them shrink and then I decided to do it again because I missed them so much. I have tons of different pairs but I'm horribly allergic to plastics. My bamboo ones are great and keep my ears smelling normal haha. These plugs are adorable!

I made a wish list post about socks a week ago. It's funny because I never wear socks, ever. But over the knee socks are a fun trend, and cozy! I am short so they would look a bit silly unless I wear super short shorts/dress. But the trend just reminds me of a mix between slutty playboy, school girl and soccer players. Haha!

These socks are from Urban Outfitters

I wear clips in my hair almost everyday. They are cute and practical, I hate having hair in my face. I could never use enough bows! Etsy has adorable homemade bows of all sizes and great prices!

This is a silly one but I've never been to the Cheesecake Factory. I normally eat pretty healthy and I like trying different types of cuisine. Also I'm very lactose intolerant... haha

But there is NOTHING like a delicious cheesecake haha. Even though the calories are like in the 1000s, I really need to eat there.
